The event, held on campus, created a dynamic and engaging atmosphere where students could learn about the many opportunities available to enrich their academic and personal experiences.

The Pan-American Agricultural School Zamorano and the Ministry of Development and Social Affairs (SEDESOL) have signed a commitment letter aimed at supporting young Hondurans with a passion for forestry, environmental, and agricultural sciences. Through this partnership, scholarships will be awarded under the Solidarity Scholarship Program for studies at Zamorano in the university's offered programs. A total investment of 47 million lempiras will fund the education of 145 students in 2025.

These scholarships are part of the first edition of the “Agrobecas Program," an initiative aimed at promoting sustainable development and strengthening the agricultural sector in El Salvador.

Zamorano, a leading institution in agricultural education and sustainable development in Honduras and Latin America, has chosen the Banner solution, part of the Ellucian SaaS platform, to modernize its technological operations and enhance both administrative and academic management. This move positions Zamorano at the forefront of digital transformation in higher education in Central America, improving educational experience for both students and faculty.

The Pan-American Agricultural School Zamorano and IDB Lab, the innovation division of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), have signed a significant agreement to establish AgroHub: Innovation and Agrifood Entrepreneurship. This groundbreaking project aims to transform the agrifood ecosystem in Honduras, Guatemala, and El Salvador, with a special focus on small-scale farmers, sustainability, and climate resilience.
