San Pedro Sula, Honduras – La 10ª edición del Producer & Roaster Forum (PRF) se llevó a cabo el 27 y 28 de marzo de 2025 en el Copantl Hotel & Convention Center en San Pedro Sula, Honduras, reuniendo a cientos de profesionales del café de todo el mundo. Este evento de gran relevancia en la industria cafetera permitió a productores/as, tostadores/as y personas expertas conectarse, aprender y colaborar, impulsando el desarrollo de la cadena de valor del café.

Zamorano strengthens research efforts with Sustenta Honduras

On March 22nd, Zamorano, in partnership with Sustenta Honduras, had the privilege of hosting Dr. Christa Hasenkopf, Director of the Clean Air Program at the University of Chicago. She delivered an insightful talk to students in the Environmental Science and Development program at Zamorano. In her presentation, Dr. Hasenkopf emphasized the critical role of air quality monitoring, stressing how it forms the foundation for creating effective mitigation strategies and preventive policies based on data.

2025 Innovation and Technology Congress

The 2025 Innovation and Technology Congress officially kicked off with the participation of the university community and the public at large. Held at the Palacio Universitario de los Deportes of the Universidad Nacional AutĂłnoma de Honduras (UNAH), the event spanned two days, aiming to create a collaborative space for discussion on the latest advancements and challenges in innovation, sustainability, artificial intelligence, and the future of society.

Official Visit of UNALM to Zamorano

Dr. Américo Guevara Pérez, president of the Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina (UNALM) from Lima, Peru, along with MSc. Andrés Casas Díaz, Director of the Department of Horticulture at UNALM, recently visited the Zamorano campus to explore opportunities for institutional collaboration.

UTEPSA visits Zamorano to explore academic collaboration opportunities

Rubén Darío Dabdoub, president of the Universidad Tecnológica Privada de Santa Cruz (UTEPSA) in Bolivia, recently made an official visit to Zamorano, joined by Miguel Jiménez, Head of Internationalization, and Juan Carlos Peña, Head of Communication. The main goal of the visit was to explore potential collaboration opportunities between the two institutions.
