Zamorano renews its LACCEI membership and strengthens its international academic presence

Zamorano University has renewed its 2026 membership in the Latin American and Caribbean Consortium of Engineering Institutions, one of the most important academic networks in Latin America and the Caribbean dedicated to advancing engineering, technology, and innovation.

Membership in LACCEI represents international recognition that confirms Zamorano University as part of a prestigious network of academic institutions committed to promoting excellence in higher education and applied research. Through this partnership, the university expands its opportunities of collaboration with universities, research centers, and academic organizations at both the regional and global levels

Among the main benefits of this membership is access to collaborative networks that support joint projects, collaborative research initiatives, and strategic partnerships with institutions from different countries. It also provides opportunities to participate in conferences, symposia, and other academic events organized by LACCEI, where faculty, researchers, and students can share knowledge, present research findings, and strengthen their presence within the international scientific community.

In his message, Rubén D. Aranzazu, Communications & Marketing Manager at LACCEI, expressed his appreciation for the trust placed in this international academic network. He highlighted the importance of active participation by member institutions in strengthening global collaboration in engineering, technology, education, research, and innovation.

Renewing this membership also strengthens Zamorano University’s international presence, positioning the institution as a leader committed to academic quality, innovation, and strong connections with industry.

During 2025, Zamorano University participated in the LACCEI International Multiconference on Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Regional Development, an event that promotes the exchange of knowledge and experiences in entrepreneurship, innovation, and regional development. For 2026, members of the university’s academic community have submitted papers for consideration at LACCEI conferences, reaffirming the institution’s continued engagement in these international academic forums.

In addition, this membership creates new opportunities for Zamorano’s academic community by facilitating academic exchanges, supporting the publication of research, and encouraging participation in international scientific communities—enhancing both student learning and the professional development of faculty and researchers.

With this renewal, Zamorano University continues to strengthen its commitment to international collaboration and to prepare professionals capable of addressing global challenges through science, technology, and innovation.
