Official Visit of UNALM to Zamorano

Dr. Américo Guevara Pérez, president of the Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina (UNALM) from Lima, Peru, along with MSc. Andrés Casas Díaz, Director of the Department of Horticulture at UNALM, recently visited the Zamorano campus to explore opportunities for institutional collaboration.

During their visit, they had a formal meeting with Zamorano’s president, Sergio Rodríguez Royo. The goal of this meeting was to learn more about Zamorano’s educational model and discuss the possibility of establishing an interinstitutional agreement that would benefit both universities.

This visit represents a key opportunity to strengthen academic cooperation and promote the exchange of knowledge between UNALM and Zamorano, two esteemed universities committed to training professionals in the agricultural and environmental sectors.

Zamorano and USSEC Successfully Deliver the Intermediate Dairy Cattle Course by SEC Americas

On December 2–3, 2025, Zamorano University hosted the Intermediate Dairy Cattle Course offered by the Soy Excellence Center for the Americas (SEC Americas), a continuing education program led by the U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC). The project, funded by the U.S. Soybean Exporting Executive Council, brought together 27 technical professionals from companies across Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic.
