Zamorano, October 11, 2024
Zamorano celebrated with great enthusiasm the successful conclusion of its third edition of Zamotón, raising a total of US$85,000, which represents 77% of the target set for 2024. This achievement is a testament to the invaluable support provided by 290 donors, including students, alumni, faculty, parents, businesses, and friends of the institution. Contributions came from 17 countries, highlighting the spirit of Pan-Americanism and fraternity that defines the Zamorano community.
This event serves as a key platform to raise funds that support talented young people in accessing higher education, particularly those who face economic challenges. Thanks to the backing of our community, Zamotón 2024 will make it possible to award partial scholarships to at least two incoming students for the Class of 2028, giving them the opportunity to study at this prestigious institution.
The leadership of Zamorano deeply appreciates the generosity of all those who participated, as their contributions are essential for continuing our mission of shaping leaders with a global vision, committed to sustainable development and the well-being of their communities.
This achievement once again demonstrates that when the community comes together, dreams and opportunities multiply. We thank everyone who has been part of this process and extend an invitation to continue supporting initiatives that make the education of future leaders in agriculture, science, and rural development possible.
