Zamorano and Impact Hub Tegucigalpa sign agreement to boost innovation and entrepreneurship in the agri-food sector

Zamorano University and Impact Hub Tegucigalpa have signed a framework cooperation agreement aimed at strengthening innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship across the region. This strategic partnership sets the foundation for the development of training programs, joint projects, and incubation and acceleration spaces for enterprises — particularly within the agri-food sector.

Planned initiatives include diploma courses, workshops, fairs, publication exchanges, and mentorship opportunities for students and entrepreneurs.

Zamorano has been actively fostering innovation and entrepreneurship as part of its educational model, promoting projects that transform knowledge into real-world solutions.

This agreement with Impact Hub reinforces that commitment, creating new opportunities for our students to strengthen their skills in innovation — leading sustainable processes in agri-food systems — and in entrepreneurship, developing inclusive and resilient initiatives that generate regional impact.

The partnership will have an initial duration of three years and aims to contribute to building an innovative ecosystem in Honduras and the broader region.
