As part of an ongoing collaboration, Zamorano hosted a visit from Julio César Raudales Torres, the president of Universidad José Cecilio del Valle (UJCV), and Pili Luna, the founder of "Vos Honduras." During their visit, they introduced an innovative entrepreneurial project developed at UJCV, supported by the team behind the "INNOVA-T" initiative, a project focused on developing digital skills and providing access to financing for startups.
INNOVA-T, backed by UJCV and funded by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), aims to create a comprehensive model that opens more income opportunities for young people in Honduras. The project promotes job placement and the development of high-tech ventures by strengthening digital skills and access to funding, with a strong focus on gender equality.
The visit also highlighted the collaboration between faculty and students from both universities in developing new products for the national market. This approach encourages synergy between the two institutions, fostering knowledge exchange and creating impactful initiatives for the country.

The visit concluded with the signing of a framework cooperation agreement that solidifies both institutions' commitment to forming a strategic alliance focused on advancing education, innovation, and entrepreneurship in Honduras. The agreement emphasizes joint efforts in research, academic programs, technical assistance, and strengthening the country's business ecosystem.
The agreement was signed by UJCV’s president, Julio Raudales Torres and Zamorano’s president, Sergio Rodríguez Royo, who was accompanied by Dr. Ana Maier, Vice President and Academic Dean, Alejandro Osorio, Fundraising Manager for Latin America and the Caribbean, and Emily Moradel, Director of Strategy and Innovation.
This agreement marks a significant step toward ongoing, productive collaboration between the two institutions, benefiting students, entrepreneurs, and communities in Honduras, while contributing to a more dynamic and inclusive business ecosystem in the country.
