Widener University makes its annual visit to Zamorano

Each year, students and faculty from Widener University visit Zamorano for more than a week to strengthen educational collaboration and give back to the local community. During their time at the university, they work closely with the General Curriculum Department, focusing primarily on English, providing valuable learning and development opportunities.

Beyond academics, the visitors from Widener University also engage in social responsibility projects. This year, one of their main destinations was the Alison Bixby Stone School (ABSS), where they carried out various activities and donations. They also extended their support to other areas outside of the campus, making a positive impact on nearby communities, such as the Escuela Proheco Andy Rubio, which honored the Widener team for their continued support.

The visit was supported by Zamorano professors and students, who actively participated in both the educational and social activities, fostering cultural and academic exchange between the two institutions.

This ongoing collaboration highlights Zamorano’s commitment to the holistic development of its students, while also strengthening its ties with international universities and contributing to the wellbeing of the community.
