Zamorano University strengthens its position on the path toward the QS Global Top 100

Zamorano University proudly celebrates significant progress in its international positioning, following the outcomes of the QS Stars audit and its inclusion in the prestigious QS World University Rankings by Subject 2025, specifically in the field of Agriculture and Forestry.

As a result of its institutional commitment to academic excellence, Zamorano University has earned a 4-star QS rating, a distinction that evaluates the quality of higher education based on rigorous global standards. This audit helps identify key strengths, areas for improvement, and further enhances the university’s global reputation.

Additionally, Zamorano University has been included in the QS by Subject ranking, placing among the Top 40 Latin American universities in Agriculture and Forestry. This achievement places the institution alongside renowned universities such as Pontificia Universidad CatĂłlica de Chile, the University of Buenos Aires, and the National Agrarian University La Molina. Zamorano is one of only two Central American universities represented in this ranking, sharing space with leading institutions from across South America.

Within the regional group ranked between positions 31–39, Zamorano stands out particularly in the "Employer Reputation" indicator, achieving a score of 75.7—surpassing even some universities ranked in the Top 10. This highlights the strong recognition employers place on the quality and preparedness of Zamorano University graduates.

Furthermore, the institution also performs well in the “Academic Reputation” indicator, with a score of 51.25, aligning with the average of universities ranked in the regional Top 20.
