English Program

The English as a Foreign Language (EFL) program at Zamorano offers three programs focused on language acquisition, strengthening communication skills in professional and academic settings.

Each student has individual learning resources that allow them to practice the language independently and interactively. Language teaching at Zamorano is characterized by six major teaching practices: critical thinking of English as a foreign language, language appropriateness, relationship with students, student-centered learning, and lesson planning and observation.

Upon entering Zamorano, each student undertakes an international standardized assessment that allows them to define the most appropriate program for the development and strengthening of skills: English fundamentals (9 levels), vocational English for agriculture (6 levels) or academic English (3 levels). Each level lasts for 15 weeks with class sessions of 3 hours face-to-face per week in learning spaces of no more than 20 students.
