New Opportunities for Agriculture: Cafíco, Fundación Solidaridad Latinoamericana, and Zamorano University

Tegucigalpa, Honduras – September 29, 2025

This week, Zamorano University had the pleasure of welcoming representatives from Cafíco and the Fundación Solidaridad Latinoamericana for a strategic visit held from August 27–29, 2025.

Over the course of three days, both institutions joined Zamorano in a program designed to strengthen collaboration in academic development, talent training, and the advancement of sustainable agriculture.

The agenda featured visits to Zamorano’s postharvest, horticultural, coffee, and cacao facilities, as well as meetings to explore new opportunities for joint projects, training programs, internships, and scholarships. The visit concluded with the signing of a cooperation agreement, reaffirming our shared commitment to driving agricultural and academic progress across the region.

We extend our gratitude to our guests for their shared vision and commitment to sustainability. Together, we continue to work toward an agriculture that is more innovative, inclusive, and impactful for communities throughout Latin America.
