Zamorano University took part in the II International Summit of Agricultural Leaders, an event that brought together influential voices from across the sector to share experiences, inspire the next generation, and strengthen collaboration networks shaping the future of Latin American agriculture.
Held within the framework of Expo Agrofuturo 2025, one of the region’s leading gatherings on agricultural innovation, the Summit was organized by Expo Agrofuturo and the Agrofuturo Innovation Forum (FIXA) in partnership with Zamorano University.
One day, six talks, leaders transforming agriculture
Throughout the day, six distinguished speakers shared insights on sustainability, innovation, value creation, and leadership in the agricultural sector.

Each presentation showcased real examples of leadership, innovation, and sustainability—embodying the Pan-American spirit that drives Zamorano’s mission to cultivate leaders for the region.
Institutional presence and opportunities for connection
During Expo Agrofuturo (September 10–12), Zamorano hosted an informational booth at Stand 1068 in the White Pavilion’s Innovation and Agriculture 4.0 Area. There, visitors, partners, and prospective students learned about Zamorano’s academic programs and its Learning-by-Doing model—an approach that continues to set the university apart in agricultural education throughout the Americas.
The Summit not only celebrated the accomplishments of Zamorano alumni who are leading change across the region but also opened new opportunities for talented young people to access a world-class education.
