The event provided journalists with the opportunity to explore some of the academic, scientific, and production facilities that are integral to the comprehensive education of Zamorano University students, as well as learn about the advances the university is driving in research, innovation, and agrifood development throughout the region.

The day began with a welcome breakfast and an institutional presentation led by Zamorano President, Jeff Cohen, who expressed his appreciation for the media and highlighted their essential role in building a better-informed society.

During the visit, journalists toured several of Zamorano University's academic and production facilities, including the Animal Reproduction and Entomology laboratories, as well as the Fruit and Vegetable Processing Plant and the Coffee Laboratory.
