An Alliance for a More Resilient Future for Rural Communities and Their Ecosystems

Zamorano University and the French Embassy in Honduras signed a cooperation agreement that brings to life the Yeguare Project: Protection of ecosystems, resilience, and economic development of rural communities in the Santa Inés watershed. This strategic initiative focuses on environmental protection and socio-economic development in the watershed by strengthening the technical and organizational capacities of rural farming families. It simultaneously contributes to the improvement of ecosystem services and the increase of income through sustainable businesses. This collaboration marks a strong step toward more equitable, resilient, and environmentally responsible development in a key region for Honduras’ water, food, and environmental security.

ENEE, CNI, and Zamorano University Sign Strategic Alliances to Boost Educational, Energy, and Agribusiness Development in Honduras

Today, two important cooperation agreements were signed between key institutions for Honduras' development. The National Electric Power Company (ENEE) and Zamorano University signed a Memorandum of Understanding, while the National Investment Council (CNI) and Zamorano signed a Collaboration Agreement. Both aim to strengthen the country’s technical, educational, and productive capacities.
