Grain & Seed Laboratory Â
This laboratory carries out the analyses required for decision-making of Zamorano's concentrate and seed plants, as well as the grain and seed production unit. Some of the methods used include germination, vigor, and damage analysis. Sampling procedures employed in accordance with the International Seed Evaluation Association (ISTA). The laboratory monitors the quality of the raw materials of the feed plant and offers organoleptic and physical analysis services for corn, rice, beans, sorghum, and soybeans. All the laboratory's services are offered to Zamorano's internal and external clients.Â

Plant Tissue Culture Laboratory  Â
Plant tissue culture is one of the most widely used biotechnologies in agriculture, it consists of the in vitro establishment in vitro of a portion of plant tissue for specific purposes such as the production of pathogen-free plants and the mass propagation of plants. Zamorano's Plant Tissue Culture Laboratory (LCTV) was established in 1984. Lab-trained students learn from these techniques and conduct research in micropropagation and pathogen-free plant production. We offer training services in basic micropropagation techniques, adaptation of micropropagation protocols at the experimental level, and small-scale micropropagation.Â
