Zamorano University welcomed Carlos Eduardo Cordero Montoya, Executive Director of the National Migration Institute (INM) of Honduras, along with his team, for a high-level visit aimed at strengthening institutional collaboration and improving migration processes for the university community.

The strengthening of the organizational and operational structure of emerging agrifood businesses has taken a decisive step forward through the in-person bootcamps of the AgroHub project, an initiative led by Zamorano University and BID Lab. This acceleration program, known as Ruta AgriFoodTech, is facilitated by Prendho, the incubator of the Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja (UTPL). The event also received essential support from AGEXPORT in Guatemala and FUSADES in El Salvador as local strategic partners. The sessions took place on February 23 at AGEXPORT’s headquarters, on February 25 at FUSADES’ facilities, and concluded on February 27, 2026, at Zamorano University’s campus in Honduras, providing specialized tools to help startups achieve sustainable growth across the region.
