Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Zamorano University and Espresso Americano formalized an institutional cooperation agreement aimed at expanding access to higher education for young Hondurans with outstanding academic performance and demonstrated socioeconomic need, as well as developing new collaborative initiatives in areas of common interest.

Zamorano University, together with AguaClara Reach and Agua Para el Pueblo, hosted the Global Leadership Dialogue on Scaling Transformative Technologies for Sustainable Development on September 21–22, 2026. Over two days, the event brought together leaders from academia, government, international development organizations, the private sector, philanthropy, and civil society to strengthen partnerships and explore how proven technologies can be scaled to reach more communities.

This week, an “Equipe France” delegation including representatives of the Embassy of France in Honduras and CIRAD visited the Zamorano University campus to learn about the progress of the Yeguare Project and explore new opportunities for cooperation.
