- Founded in 1942, Zamorano is a university with a long tradition and prestige. It is considered by governments and the private sector as a strategic partner for the advancement of agricultural programs and enterprises that benefit not only Honduras, but all Latin America.
- Nuestro campus es un jardĂn botánico que abarca 4,500 hectáreas, ubicado en el corazĂłn de las AmĂ©ricas en Honduras, a tan solo 30 km de Tegucigalpa.
- We have laboratories, research centers, production and marketing units, as well as an agro-industrial park for hands-on learning in real environments.
- We protect the Uyuca Biological Reserve, which covers a total area of 907 hectares full of biodiversity in fauna and flora.
- We have a solar park that supplies 37% of Zamorano's energy demand.

En 2021, se crea el programa de EducaciĂłn Continua Zamorano (ZEED).Â
Posteriormente, se añadieron los programas de MaestrĂa en Agronegocios en 2021 y la MaestrĂa Ejecutiva en Agronegocios en 2022.
