Agricultural Engineer and Agricultural Economist graduated from the Pontificia Universidad CatĂłlica de Chile (UC), with an MBA from the Universidad de Chile. He has more than 25 years of experience in the financial, agribusiness and education sectors, leading multidisciplinary teams globally, Latin America and Chile, in business operations, marketing, digital transformation and corporate strategy. He was also founder and CEO of AgroPartner, as well as consultant for various national and multinational entities in the B2B, B2C and B2G sectors. In addition, he served as Director of the Master in Agribusiness Management (UC).

Sergio Andrés Rodríguez Royo

President- Chile

Industrial and Business Administrator from UNITEC, with an MBA from INCAE and a PhD in Curriculum Studies from Purdue University. Previously, she was Associate Dean of Academic Management and Quality and Associate Professor at Zamorano and Dean of the School of Administrative and Social Sciences at UNITEC. In her current role, she leads academic programs, learning-by-doing, student life, admissions, library, registration, research, outreach, curricular and faculty development. She has been an undergraduate and graduate faculty member, with experience in research and industry leadership, overseeing administrative and quality processes.

Ana Margarita Maier Acosta

Vice President and Academic Dean- Honduras

He has over 20 years of experience in strategic business planning, finance, leadership and administrative management. His experience includes serving as CFO at La Colonia supermarkets, Controller at Bimbo Honduras, CFO for CorporaciĂłn MCC and Navega/Tigo Honduras. He completed a Master's degree in Finance at ISEAD University in Spain and in Projects at UNITEC. He holds a degree in Business Administration from the Universidad Nacional AutĂłnoma de Honduras and has specialized in Financial Management at the University of San Francisco, U.S.A. He recently received his law degree from the Universidad Tecnologica de Honduras.

Herbert Julio Gaekel Wildt

Operations and Finance Vice President- Honduras

Agricultural Engineer in Production from Tec de Monterrey, with a master’s degree in international Cooperation for Development and a specialization in Design Thinking and Systemic Innovation from Stanford University. He has more than 15 years of experience promoting public-private partnerships for agri-food innovation and climate resilience at the international level. She has held prominent roles, including Representative of the International Potato Center (CIP) in Ecuador, Operations Manager for Latin America and the Caribbean at CIP, Family Farming Specialist for Latin America and the Caribbean at FAO and ECLAC, among others.

Horacio Rodríguez Vázquez

Director of Institutional Development- Mexico

"Education changes lives!" is the motto that has driven the professional career of Zamorano's Institutional Effectiveness Manager. With more than 20 years of experience in higher education, she has led the formulation, implementation and monitoring of institutional strategies, as well as educational research and policy formulation. She holds an International MBA from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and is a member of the Universidad Tecnológica Centroamericana Alumni Debate Society.

Emily Moradel – Fu

Director of Strategy and Innovation- Honduras

Graduated in Public Accounting and Finance, with a master’s degree in project management and more than 13 years of experience as external/internal auditor and financial consultant. Specialized in problem identification and resolution, implementation of risk-based internal controls and quality assurance and business efficiency. He stands out for his leadership skills, positive influence on teams and project management to optimize processes and communication, monitor financial indicators and ensure operational and financial continuity.

Javier Ernesto Erazo Nieto

Head of Internal Auditing- Honduras

He holds an Attorney-at-law degree from the National Autonomous University of Honduras and Master of Law (LLM) from Tulane University. With over 30 years of experience in the public and private sectors, managing civil, administrative, corporate, and international matters. He has advised entities such as the U.S. Embassy in Tegucigalpa, Office of the Presidency, British American Tobacco, COHEP, CNBS, Grupo Terra, CABEI, among others.

Currently, he provides legal counsel to Zamorano University and represents it in legal processes. Focusing on conflict prevention and resolution, ensuring institutional continuity.
