Extracurricular Clubs

Topromote well-being and quality of student life, various extracurricular activities of art, culture, science, technology and self-care are developed. 

The main objective of this activity is to support the REMAR home with didactic, educational activities and simple agricultural practices for family gardens or maintenance of ornamentals, Young Zamorano Volunteers collect donations of supplies, food, to deliver on Thursdays or Fridays.

 

The goal of the club is to help people create activities to bring joy without expecting anything in return. Activities such as the Inclusion Olympics and the celebration of Children's Day have been carried out for low-income children in villages surrounding Zamorano. 

The club has more than one hundred members who attend hybrid meetings on entrepreneurship topics, during the week they contact renowned speakers from abroad and nationals to give talks on entrepreneurship topics in agriculture and in general. There were also graduates sharing their success stories abroad and as entrepreneurs. 

He is oriented to the performance of instruments and singing, making covers of songs for participation in rehearsals and events within Zamorano.

It was created for campus residents to release stress and express their emotions, leaving all worries behind. This space is for learning and fluidity, different musical genres ranging from merengue, bachata, salsa, reggaeton, dembow and many more are implemented, emphasizing the tropical. 

Promises is a Catholic extracurricular, holding meetings on Fridays in the ecumenical chapel from 7:00pm - 8:30pm. In this extracurricular activity, dynamic activities, retreats and talks on religious or related topics are carried out. Together with the music choir, this extracurricular choir coordinates Eucharistic celebrations, holy hours, among other religious topics.

This weekly extracurricular activity carries out activities where its mission is to make disciples of Jesus with the vision of bringing about revival and transformation in the nations. Breaking Borders seeks to strengthen leadership in young people and guide them in their purpose, so that they have a positive impact on Zamorano and on the environment in which they work when they graduate, personally and professionally.

A club dedicated to soil research, and everything related to soil science, to promote knowledge and raise awareness of the importance of this organism for life on the planet. They establish contact with people from different parts of the world, exponents and researchers who can contribute with talks and conferences, information on topics of interest to the members of the club

This club seeks to promote healthy coexistence based on Pan-Americanism, providing technical and practical knowledge necessary in the field of sustainable livestock, while acquiring skills in cattle management, animal welfare and responsible resource management.

The purpose of AVC is to instruct students and residents in basic first aid, foster self-confidence, leadership, and teamwork through rescues in different situations, such as rescue on flat land, rocky land, and in water. 

Its vision is to promote environmental awareness to future professionals and the community. Since its inception, talks, workshops, films, learning tours and other activities have been held. 

To offer a pleasant and challenging space for students, where they are accompanied and supported in their training in the field of animal nutrition, with commitment and perseverance. Its vision is to train students with extracurricular, autonomous, persevering, and constant abilities that represent academic quality.

Its mission is to teach the student community the science and technology behind the food industry around the world, emphasizing innovation, environmental care and human health. 

The club was created with the purpose of promoting the habit of reading and creating a space to share opinions about the books read and learn about the reflections that the members of the club have on the subject. 

It is an open club for those who are interested in astronomy. Its main purpose is to create a space for learning and reflection on this science through knowledge dissemination activities that allow all members to integrate. 

The focus of this club is its relationship and commitment to the field, to the producer and to the entire production chain of a cup of coffee of excellence. Academic excellence and discipline seek to ensure the permanence of the culture that distinguishes them. Hand in hand with sustainability, they seek the development of coffee farming in the Americas.

Promote the development of knowledge and skills in crop genetic improvement among students and train leading professionals in applied research, agricultural innovation, and community outreach to promote food security and agricultural sustainability in the region.

Its mission is to encourage and celebrate artistic expression among college students by providing an inclusive and collaborative space where they can explore, learn, have fun, relax, and develop other skills.

+SPACE provides support and confidence so that the Zamorano community can freely express itself and defend its rights. The club's objective is to promote issues of diversity, equity and inclusion at Zamorano, allowing the entire community to raise its voice within the framework of a culture of respect and empathy.
