Zamorano University welcomed a delegation from Fundaci\u00f3n PROSPERA to strengthen institutional relationships and explore opportunities for collaboration in areas of shared interest, particularly education, professional development, internships, and agrifood innovation. The visit provided an opportunity to exchange perspectives and discuss potential joint initiatives aimed at developing talent and fostering innovation with a positive impact in Honduras and the region.<\/p>

The Fundaci\u00f3n PROSPERA delegation included Alejandra Mar\u00eda de Dios Chang Vides, Vice President of Fundaci\u00f3n PROSPERA; Francesca Sof\u00eda Garc\u00eda Balletta, International Investment and Strategic Development Specialist; Vanni Juliany Palma Mej\u00eda, Public Relations Representative; Javier Medina Pavon, Strategic Project Development Representative; and Eric Paz, Project Manager, Territorial Development & Strategic Partnership for Honduras.<\/p>

The visit began with an executive meeting attended, on behalf of Zamorano University, by Jeff Cohen, President; Ana Maier, Vice President and Dean of Academic Affairs; Alejandro Osorio, Director of Institutional Development; Mar\u00eda Jos\u00e9 Baires, Honduras Fundraising Manager; and Thania P\u00e9rez, Head of Government Relations. During the meeting, university representatives presented Zamorano\u2019s institutional strengths and discussed potential areas for collaboration focused on talent development and the creation of opportunities with regional impact.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

As part of the agenda, the Fundaci\u00f3n PROSPERA delegation met with the Continuing Education and Internationalization and Accreditation teams to learn about the university\u2019s specialized training, professional development, and international engagement opportunities. The discussions also explored potential internship programs and other initiatives that could create meaningful learning and professional development opportunities.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The visit also included a tour of Zamorano\u2019s main campus, where the delegation experienced the university\u2019s distinctive Learning-by-Doing educational model. The agenda continued with visits to the Food Analysis Laboratory and the Food Innovation Plant, where participants learned about the university\u2019s capabilities in food analysis, research, product development, and innovation for the agrifood sector.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
