Zamorano University welcomed Tim and Ann Edwards, donors to the institution since 2019 and strong advocates for developing young leaders across Central America. Through their philanthropy, they have contributed more than USD 400,000 and established four endowed scholarships, providing ongoing support to students with outstanding academic potential.<\/p>

The visit began with a tour of Zamorano\u2019s main campus, followed by a dinner with university leadership, including Jeff Cohen, President; Dr. Ana Maier, Vice President and Academic Dean; and Alejandro Osorio, Director of Institutional Development. The gathering also brought together students currently supported through the Edwards Family Scholarship Program, as well as a graduate who benefited from their generosity. During the evening, the students shared their personal experiences and reflected on the impact these scholarships have had on their academic and professional journeys.<\/p>

On the second day, the delegation visited the Soil Laboratory, Dairy Cattle Unit, and Calf Unit, where they learned about some of the teaching, applied research, and production activities that distinguish Zamorano University as a leader in agricultural education across the region.<\/p>

The visit provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen the relationship between the Edwards family and Zamorano University while showcasing firsthand the results of an investment that continues to transform lives through education.
