Zamorano University reaffirmed its commitment to food security and community development by participating, for the fourth consecutive year, in the signing of the School Snack Program agreement, an initiative developed in partnership with the Honduras Food Bank and Dinant.<\/p>

As a strategic partner of the program, Zamorano University has contributed through technical assistance, logistical support, and guidance in food and nutrition education processes aimed at vulnerable communities. During 2025, the program benefited 73 children from the community of Tabla Grande in San Antonio de Oriente, Francisco Moraz\u00e1n, achieving significant results in school attendance and nutritional improvement.<\/p>

Zamorano University\u2019s participation has included the collaborative work of students, faculty members, and nutritionists from the Food Science and Technology program, who have led workshops and training sessions for parents, strengthening community capacities in nutrition and healthy eating. In addition, the university supported the supplementation of food used in the preparation of school meals and provided technical follow-up for the program.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Among the program\u2019s key achievements in 2025 was a 100% school retention rate for the second consecutive year, along with improvements in nutritional indicators among the children served.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
